You will select and receive a 10-digit Allvoi telephone number. The Allvoi telephone number is the same as the 10-digit number you would receive from a traditional telephone company. Most customers select a telephone number that has an area code and exchange from their home state and city. Some people may choose a telephone number from a different state and city. You may wish to do this if you live in a different state from your family or friends. If you assign a telephone number in the state of your family or friends, all calls they make to your Allvoi telephone number are in-state calls for them rather than long distance. All of your calls to them would be included in your minutes provided by the Allvoi plan that you’ve selected. Likewise, if you lived in a foreign country, you could set up an Allvoi account with a U.S. telephone number in Texas, for example, and all of your calls within the U.S. would be billed as domestic plan calls rather than international calls. Your family in Texas could dial your Texas telephone number and the phone would ring at home in your foreign location. They would talk to you from the U.S. to overseas and pay only a domestic rate to speak to you overseas.
