E911
Allvoi has an E911 fee of $1.75 because State and/or local governments may assess fees to pay for emergency services in your community. Allvoi bills and collects E911 fees from its customers, and remits those fees to the appropriate authority. Depending on where you live, these fees can vary widely.
Additional Telephone Numbers
Allvoi has a $1.00 fee for additional 10 digit telephone numbers per month. The first telephone number is free.
The Universal Service Fund (USF) is a federal/state program aimed at ensuring the availability of affordable telecommunications services to schools, libraries, rural customers, and low-income citizens. The USF is funded by telecommunications companies that provide service between states and/or international service. In June 2006, the FCC required VoIP providers to contribute to the USF. The Federal Universal Service Fee that appears on customer bills is a monthly charge that recovers the contributions that Allvoi, as a VoIP provider, must make to the federal USF. This fee may be subject to periodic adjustment by Allvoi based on the FCC's contribution factor.
Regulatory Cimpliance Fee
The Regulatory and Compliance Fee of $1.99 pays for our regulatory-related and legal compliance expenses and taxes, including those related to customer privacy protection, identity theft protection and number portability.
